On July 22, 2016, Valley Stream Fire Department Rescue One was dispatched, along with the Nassau County Police, to a report of a man trapped under a van on East Sunrise Highway in Valley Stream. The man was removed from under the vehicle and packaged by VSFD Rescue medics for transport to hospital by NCPD Ambulance.
