On June 10, 2015, the Massapequa Fire Department responded to a call for a car into a building on Sunrise Highway at Seaford Avenue. Engine 631, Ladder 632, Ambulances 638, 639 and 6310, and the Squad Company responded to the scene with Chief of Department Keuchler in charge. There was one occupant, the driver of a large SUV, who was removed from the vehicle and then transported by a police ambulance. The Squad Company then shored up the front of the building to prevent any collapse.
