The Springs Fire Department responded to a structure fire in a residence on Springs Fireplace Road. Mutual aid came from East Hampton, Amagansett and Sag Harbor. An engine from Montauk was called to standby at the Springs’ firehouse, and representatives from the East Hampton Town Fire Marshal’s office were on scene to determine the fire’s cause and origin.
