Late on the night of July 24, 2026, and into the early morning hours of July 25, the Seaford Fire Department, along with mutual aid companies, operated at the scene of a fire on Park Avenue off Washington Avenue. Firefighters put four handlines and a pair of master streams into operation for heavy fire throughout a two-story private dwelling. The fire appeared to have begun on the exposure one side of the home before quickly extending up to and across the second floor and attic areas. All occupants made it out of the home safely, and there were no serious injuries reported. Seaford Chief of Department Beehler had the command.
