Rochester firefighters were dispatched to Electric Avenue for multiple calls reporting a fire. First arriving companies found a large 2-1/2 story row home with heavy fire venting from a dormer on the top floor. Lines were quickly stretched to the top floor and the floor below. A second alarm was transmitted due to the size of the building, bringing in extra resources. Through hard work, firefighters were able to keep the fire contained to the area of origin.
