The Roosevelt Fire Department responded to Eddy Road for a house fire. Units arrived to fire in the rear of a two-story home in which fire had traveled to the basement. Two handlines were put into operation. Mutual aid was provided by Hempstead, Uniondale, North Merrick, Merrick and Freeport. Units operated under the command of 7302.
