The Fair Lawn Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched for a structure fire on Fair Lawn Avenue. Units arrived to heavy smoke pushing from a single-story restaurant. Crews stretched lines and launched an aggressive attack to start darkening down the fire. Fire had gotten above the sprinkler heads and was pushing through the roof shortly after arrival. Mutual aid was called. The fire was brought under control and out in roughly 90 minutes.
