The funeral was held at the Christian Cultural Center, also in Brooklyn. The FDNY community gathered in Brooklyn as Probationary Firefighter Malveaux was laid to rest. Malveaux, 31, died after suffering a medical episode during a training exercise on Randall’s Island last week, the FDNY said in a statement.
