The Nesconset Fire Department laid to rest ex-Chief and past-Commissioner Charles Puleo of Titusville, Florida. He was 72.
Charlie was a 53-year member of the Nesconset Fire Department and served as Chief and Commissioner. He was also a charter member with the Riders of Fire motorcycle club, and a member of the Suffolk County Fire Police Association, Suffolk County Fire Educators Association, and Life Member of the New York State Chiefs Association.
He was the beloved husband of Patricia; and loving father of Tracy, Ron, Nancy, Karen, and Michael. He was also grandfather to 13 and great-grandfather to 6, as well as brother of Vincent (Beverly) Puleo.
