The Suffolk Police and Nesconset Fire Department responded to an accident at the intersection of Nesconset Highway (Route 347) and Southern Boulevard in Nesconset on March 1, 2017. The two-vehicle broadside collision injured both drivers trapping one. Nesconset firefighters used hydraulic tools to extricate the person. Nesconset ambulances transported the two drivers to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
