The Nesconset Fire Department responded to an MVA car-versus-tractor trailer with entrapment. Arriving units found one subject heavily trapped in their vehicle with severe injuries. EMS workers from First Responder 4-4-80 and Ambulance 4-4-6A stabilized the patient while firefighters from Heavy Rescue 4-4-9 and Engine 4-4-2 worked to cut open the vehicle and extricate the patient. All units operated under the command of Chief Frank Ragona and cleared the scene at 02:24.
