On January 19, 2017, the Mount Sinai Fire Department was activated for a reported garage fire on Kingston Road. Upon arrival, commanding units found smoke showing from the attached garage of a two-story residential structure. Command requested mutual aid from Miller Place. First-due units made a quick knockdown of the fire and crews checked for extension to the home.
