The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company responded for a trailer fire on Birch Street in the Big Oaks Campground off of Wolfe Neck Road. Upon arrival, units found a trailer and two sheds well involved. There was also exterior damage to three other mobile homes and a camper. All occupants were out of the structures and there were no injuries. Rehoboth Beach fire crews were assisted by Lewes and Indian River. The fire was brought under control in 20 minutes and units remained on scene for over two hours to hit hot spots and clean up. The Delaware Fire Marshall’s Office was investigating.
