The volunteer fire companies of Gouldtown and Fairton from the Fairfield Township Fire Department in Cumberland County were dispatched on August 28, 2016, to Reeves Road in Gouldtown for a motorcycle crash with injury. As the event unfolded, it was learned the motorcyclists were riding in a gravel pit when the injury occurred. EMS, once on location, requested a medevac and Medevac 5 responded. The patient was packaged, transported to the LZ and flown to a local trauma center.
