On May 6, 2015, the Manlius Fire Department was called to a report of heavy fire and smoke at a large apartment complex. Upon arrival, Assistant Chief Brad Pinsky transmitted a second and then third alarm. Over 15 departments throughout Onondaga and Madison counties, and well over 100 firefighters responded to the emergency. Several pets and most of the tenants’ belongings were saved by the quick work of the responding departments.
