On November 5, 2016, South Windsor (CT) firefighters responded to a four-alarm blaze on Pleasant Valley Road. Units arrived to find heavy fire having control of one unit and spreading fast, eventually damaging or destroying 14 units. One firefighter and one occupant were transported to the hospital. Mutual aid came from at least seven departments to the scene and for coverage.
