On January 13, 2021 Louisiana firefighters responded to 6000 Chef Highway. Crews battled a 4-alarm fire in a large 2 story, 104 unit apartment building (2 separate buildings). The blaze started in an apartment on the second floor and ran left and right in the attic area and jumping across to the other exposure apartment building.
