Recently, Hackensack 4th Platoon Engines 5, 4, Rescue 1 and Deputy 4 responded to Hackensack Avenue for a car fire on the top deck of a parking garage. Engine 5 stretched up the side of the parking garage and across the top deck to the fire. Engine 4 and Rescue 1 assisted in the stretch, totaling 450-feet of hose. The fire was quickly knocked down and overhauled.
