The Lewes Fire Department lost 57-year Life Member Bill Reynolds on May 6, 2015. Bill served the town of Lewes in one capacity or another for the majority of his life. He enjoyed a long career with the Board of Public Works in Lewes and served as Engineer and Chief Engineer for many years and left his imprint on many engineers and members in the department.

Bill’s legacy will continue within the department as he has two sons, a grandson and granddaughter who are extremely active in the fire service.

His upbeat personality, smile and story-telling will be greatly missed by his family, friends, the Lewes Fire Department and the community that he served throughout his many years of public service.
