The Levittown Fire Department was alerted for a house fire on Hamlet Road. Upon arrival, units were met with fire showing out the windows of an upstairs bedroom. Crews made an aggressive interior attack, quickly knocking down the main body of fire without incident. Radiant heat from the fire melted the vinyl siding on the neighboring home. No serious injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation by officials.
