The Hammonton Fire Department was dispatched for a structure fire. On arrival the rear of a two-story multi-family dwelling was found well involved. An interior attack was attempted but, due to hydrant issues, was unable to be accomplished. Additional units were requested to assist at the scene from Elwood, Egg Harbor City, Laureldale, Mays Landing, Indian Mills, Winslow Township and Collings Lakes. Units were able to contain the fire to the fire building with minor extension to the B exposure. The fire is currently under investigation.
