The Holloway Terrace Fire Company mourned the loss of active Life Member, William ‘Bill’ Stevenson, who passed away on November 24, 2021.
Bill was a 1965 graduate of William Penn High School and Delaware Technical and Community College. Bill enlisted and served honorably in the United States Air Force. Bill retired from Acme Markets after 25 years, also retiring from New Castle County as Treasury Supervisor after 25 years. He was serving as Treasurer of the Holloway Terrace Fire Company, a position he held with honor and distinction for 32 consecutive years.
In addition to his fire company family, Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna J. (Schmitt) Stevenson, son Robert, daughter Brandi Patterson (Ben), grandchildren Lauren Stevenson (James), Joshua Patters and Mallori Stevenson; great-grandchildren Everett Tyre, Jameson Stevenson, Harrison Walls and a great-granddaughter due in March 2022 and brother Jack Stevenson.
