The Hempstead Fire Department and Nassau County Police ESU operated on the scene of a single-vehicle accident with overturn and entrapment on Peninsula Boulevard. There were two occupants inside — one requiring extrication. Multiple tools were put into operation to complete the extrication, which took approximately 20 minutes. The accident was under investigation, and all fire department units were under the command of Hempstead Chief of Department Kyle Boles.
