Fire apparatus, police vehicles, ambulances, and many residents with show cars, motorcycles and more turned out to show their support and wish Jason a very Happy 14th birthday in a parade down Mola Boulevard in Elmwood Park. Jason suffers from a rare and aggressively debilitating disease called mucopolysaccharidosis type II or MPS II. It was a great turnout for a great cause and it was amazing to see the smiles on Jason and his family! Many first responders and residents stopped the parade to hand deliver gifts to Jason.
