On September 2, 2016, the Holmes Fire Company, with other township companies and mutual aid from Norwood, were dispatched to Kedron Avenue for a building fire reported to be in a detached garage with exposure issues. Upon arrival, Ladder 43 stretched a handline on the single-story, wood frame garage, which was well involved, and made a quick knockdown. The building was heavily damaged and required extensive overhaul.
