On August 11, 2026 at 1041 hours, Troutman Fire Rescue was alerted for a vehicle fire on Julian Place. Arriving units found a fully involved work truck on South Main Street by Julian Place and a working fire was transmitted by Chief of the Department Wesley Morris. Ladder 1 was first on scene and stretched one hose line and quickly extinguished the fire. Iredell County Sheriff’s unit and Troutman Police units blocked two lanes of traffic while firefighters operated.
