FDNY companies in East Harlem battled a raging three-alarm blaze in the rear apartments of a six-story occupied multiple dwelling on East 120th Street. The fire originated in a third-floor apartment but quickly spread to the upper floors. Additional trucks were required due to a heavy smoke condition throughout the building. A total of 13 people suffered minor injuries at the scene.
