At approximately 1645 on January 22, 2024, the Southbury (CT) Fire Department was dispatched to Fish Rock Road for a house fire. First companies on scene found a large 2-1/2 story home heavily involved in fire. Oxford was immediately called to assist in setting up a tanker shuttle for water supply. The fire escalated to a second alarm, but the fire had too large of a head start and unfortunately the home was completely destroyed by the fire. Two propane tanks were also involved.
