Westport (CT) Firefighter Turk Aksoy was remembered at his memorial service at Saugatuck Elementary School. Over 150 firefighters and friends came to honor the 13-year veteran of the department who passed away on November 22, 2019, after battling cancer for five years.
Turk, 46, was predeceased by his wife in January 2019 and is survived by his two children, Tess (15), Tyson (13), and his aunt, Nadine Aksoy.
