Fort Hunter firefighters battled a multi-alarm fire in a home on Quackenbush Road in the village. The fire started in the rear of the house and quickly spread throughout. The house was recently purchased and was the former home of a hoarder, which made an interior attack impossible. The house was bulldozed so firefighters could get to the seat of the fire.
