Groton (MA) firefighters responded for a three-alarm fire in a two-story townhouse. Numerous animals were rescued and a Mayday was called for a firefighter on the second floor who had to be assisted out a window to a waiting stretcher; he was transferred to a local hospital. The fire was under investigation.
