On November 19, 2016, Bethlehem Police received several calls reporting a car crash on Bender Lane at Stonewall Lane. Upon arrival, responders found a vehicle severed in half. Bethlehem Police, Elsmere Fire and Bethlehem EMS quickly extricated the driver who was declared dead upon arrival at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Speed was confirmed to be a contributing factor in the crash.
