A Nutley man is dead after fire ripped through a private home on Myrtle Avenue on October 10, 2020. Firefighters were called just before 1800 for a house fire. Upon arrival, units found fire in a raised ranch. Firefighters quickly made entry and found two elderly victims and a dog. Fire officials believe the fire started in the garage and extended up to the first floor and into the attic.
