The volunteer fire companies of Richland and East Vineland responded to Landis Avenue and Tuckahoe Road on November 23, 2018, for an MVA with rollover and entrapment. Richland Chief Tony Monfredo established command, and confirmed a two-vehicle crash with one entrapped in a vehicle on its roof. Command requested East Vineland Engine 12-21 to pull a length of hose and put it through the front of the vehicle to support the driver who was inverted until his safety belt was removed. Then he was lowered, triaged and transported by EMS to Inspira Hospital in the City of Vineland. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the New Jersey State Police. Also responding were Buena Vista Township EMS, Buena Borough EMS.
