On the morning of August 22, 2020, members of the Demarest Fire Department and the family of ex-Chief Frederick Drescher gathered together to pay their final respects to a great man, who was a son, brother, husband, uncle and grandfather.
Earlier this year, along with his brother Ricky, they both received their 50 years of active service awards at the fire department installation dinner.
Like many members who have passed away, Fred was able to take his final ride to his final resting place on the department’s 1948 L-85 Mack Pumper.
