Deadline for 2022 National Awards is Fast Approaching
The Congressional Fire Services Institute has extended the deadline for submitting nominations for its 2022 awards to January 21st. We extended the deadline to allow individuals more time following the Holiday season to submit their applications. These awards recognize both individuals and organizations for outstanding leadership in fire and life safety. The recipients will be recognized at the 2022 National Fire and Emergency Services Dinner on April 7, 2022, in Washington, DC. Approximately 1,500 fire and emergency services officials from across the nation are expected to attend the program.
The four awards include:
- CFSI/Motorola Solutions Mason Lankford Fire Service Leadership Award recognizes individuals for leadership in advancing the readiness and safety of our nation’s firefighters and emergency services personnel.
- CFSI/NFFF Senator Paul S. Sarbanes Fire Service Safety Leadership Award recognizes organizations for outstanding leadership in advancing the 16 Firefighter Life Safey Initiatives.
- CFSI/IFSTA Dr. Anne W. Phillips Award for Leadership in Fire Safety Education recognizes individuals for leadership in fire safety education.
- CFSI/Masimo Excellence in Fire Service-Based EMS recognizes fire departments for innovations and enhancements in the delivery of emergency medical services.
