Henderson County, Indiana:
On Saturday April 22, 2023 Corydon Civil Defense Fire & Rescue (Henderson co.) Captain Dwight Crooks and Engineer Phil Brewster attended the Honor Flight of Southern Indiana. They flew out Saturday morning and headed to see all the sights at Washington DC, then returned home later that evening to be welcomed back with a “homecoming parade”.
Corydon Civil Defense members attend the welcome home event and welcomed our heros home. on Monday the 24th we hosted a special ceremony for our heros. Both were installed as lifetime members of the dept. Captain Crooks served in the Airforce, Engineer Brewster the Marines. Captain Crooks has 30+ years on the department, while Engineer Brewster has 51!
