On June 19, 2016, the Vischers Ferry and Halfmoon Crescent Fire Departments were called to a structure fire in a two-story residence on Weston Drive in Clifton Park. Upon arrival, smoke was billowing from the left side of the second story. Crews worked quickly to open up the side of the building and roof of the attached garage to put the fire out. Latham and Boght were called for mutual aid. With the temperatures over 90 degrees all crews took adequate time to remain hydrated. No injuries were incurred and the residence was saved.
