While Chester units were operating at a different second alarm, cover companies were dispatched for a building fire. Upon arrival they found a single-story commercial structure with heavy smoke showing. Crews made an initial interior attack but were forced out by heavy fire conditions. The fire went to two alarms plus special calls.
