On November 1, 2016, Camden County Alarm received calls for a house fire on S. Barrett Avenue in Audubon. Task Force 1-1 was paged out bringing Audubon, Oaklyn, Haddon Heights and Mt. Ephraim to the scene; on arrival an all-hands was transmitted adding Westmont. The companies had heavy fire showing from division A. Two handlines knocked the bulk of the fire down and companies began a primary search, during which fire was found in the basement and rapidly extending up the walls to the upper floors and into the attic of the balloon construction. A defensive attack began as fire spread throughout the house and a second alarm was sounded bringing Lawnside, Haddonfield and Barrington. As fire broke through the roof additional alarms were struck bringing Bellmawr, Runnemede, Collingswood, Gloucester City, Brooklawn Cascade, Deer Park Rehab. and two BLS units. The home was destroyed.
