In the true tradition of the NYC Fire Department, a funeral was held for Firefighter Greg Chevalley who died of illness from operational duties. Greg’s tireless efforts at Ground Zero during the events of September 2001 have been determined to be the cause of his illness. Chevalley has been involved in many notable rescues and responded to Hurricanes Irene and Sandy. Our prayers go out to the Chevalley family and to the members of the FDNY.
