Firefighters in Queens were dispatched to Jamaica Avenue for a fire inside a store. Companies arrived to find smoke showing and had to work extensively to gain access to the fire. Once they made access, companies found that fire had extended to the cockloft of the building and was rapidly traveling to multiple exposures. The fire was brought under control around 0400 and had burned through six buildings.
