The volunteer fire companies of Collings Lakes and Newtonville were dispatched to 8th Street and Mays Landing Road in the Folsom section on August 5, 2017, for an MVA with entrapment. Collings Lakes Captain Al Valentino arrived and established command for a two-vehicle crash with one vehicle overturned and its passengers self extricated. Firefighters cut the battery cables on both vehicles, and then stood by while the overturned vehicle was righted and removed from the scene.
