The Copiague Fire Department was called to a house fire on South Great Neck Road just before 0300, on February 15, 2019. Third Assistant Chief Broyles arrived to smoke showing. First and Second Assistant Chiefs Nuzzi and Miller arrived shortly after. The second floor of the home was well involved when Engine 1-3-10 stretched two lines to the house with the crew of Engine 1-3-7. Ladder 1-3-4 put its bucket to the second floor. Amityville Ladder 1-1-5 was RIT. It took about 40 minutes to bring the fire under control with one of the two female occupants suffering burns to the back. She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital; the other female was uninjured. Lindenhurst and North Lindenhurst stood by. – Fire News photos by Paul Mazza
