Car Causes Gasoline Tanker Fire

Wednesday, October 29th, 2014, 12:44 pm

On October 3, 2014, a fire erupted on  Franklin and North Claiborne Avenue after another gasoline tanker truck  caught fire after a car hit it. The car was  running the wrong way up the street. The driver was killed when he could not escape from his vehicle. The tank truck hit a sign pylon when it caught fire. Foam was used again to extinguish the fire that went to a three alarm assignment.
